Baruffaldi was founded by Cesare Boffelli, Mechanical Engineer, in Milan in 1927.
In the 30s, the production of motorcycle brakes began while in the 50s the company expanded by starting to produce and market brakes and clutches for various application sectors.

Thanks to the rapid economic and technological development of the market, in addition to the experience gained, in the 60s Baruffaldi entered the vehicle components sector (clutches for compressors) and into the world of machine tools (electromechanical turrets, dividing tables and 2-speed gearboxes for lathes / cutters).

The technological development and the great reliability of Baruffaldi brakes and clutches, as required by the automotive industry and the machine tool sector, will allow the company to enter and supply components in the textile and agricultural machinery sectors.

The company develops its business thanks to the work of over 200 collaborators in 2 production units that cover an area of ​​25.000 square meters: Tribiano-Milan Production Unit (Vehicle Technology Division / Industry Division) and Settala-Milan Production Unit (Components Division for machine tools).

Over the years, Baruffaldi has thus become a world leader in precision mechanics by selling its own line of products and providing assistance in every corner of the globe. All this is possible thanks to a structured commercial, technical and assistance network operating in all the most industrialized countries.
