It has consolidated know-how in advanced transmission systems for earth moving machines. In particular, its solutions find application on backhoe loaders, loaders, telescopic trucks, wheeled and tracked excavators, compactors and other special applications.
Each system includes the combination of driving axles and mechanical, semi-automatic and automatic, hydrostatic or hydraulic transmissions. The management of Carraro drivetrains is controlled by systems (ECU – electronic control unit), which guarantee the optimization of vehicle performance and productivity.
Working closely with the main OEMs in the sector, Carraro Drive Tech has also achieved excellence in small-sized components for earthmoving machinery. These include: gears for reduction units, output pinions and complete planetary reduction units.
