Energean Italy S.p.A, boasting over 70 years of history in Italy in the E&P sector, in December 2020 changed its main shareholder being acquired by Energean plc (LSE:ENOG, FTSE 250, TASE:אנאג, TA-35), an international upstream operator focused on development, exploration and production of hydrocarbons and natural gas in the Mediterranean.
With a staff of about 250 employees, Energean Italy S.p.A. operates in Italy and, thanks to its pole of technical excellence based in Milan, supports the Energean Group that is present in Israel, Egypt, Greece. Croatia, Montenegro, Cyprus, and the UK with a strong commitment to a sustainable development targeting net zero emissions by 2050 in compliance with the energy transition in progress and UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
