Maurel et Prom Italia Srl is the Italian branch of Etablissements Maurel et Prom SA, a French company based in Paris and operating for decades in research and development of energy resources in various regions of the world, in full integration with the host Countries.
Maurel et Prom Italia holds an exploration permit for Oil & Gas in Sicily, called “Fiume Tellaro”, which extends for about 660 square kilometers between the provinces of Ragusa, Catania and Syracuse.
The aim of the company’s work program for the period 2018 – 2022 is to complete the 2D / 3D geophysical seismic campaignof the whole Permit block, and subsequently to identify the suitable areas for the drilling of 3 exploration wells.
