FRB technologies it was founded in the early 60s by Romano Franceschelli who, first as a turner and later as a mechanical designer and engineer, followed the construction of spare parts for third parties. The problems that he had to face in the processing of shafts different in type and size, constituted the incentive for the research and development of equipment such as the tailstock with differentiated load and, subsequently, the front driver with mechanical self-compensation system of the claws. These equipments had such satisfactory results that they were patented, manufactured and marketed by FRB Technologies. In the following years the company was committed to expanding the range of its products through the introduction of drivers and tailstocks for toothing and grinding, tailstocks for pipe grinding, fixed hard metal tips, as well as dedicating itself to the technological improvement of existing products. and more generally to the achievement of a high quality level of their equipment. The results were not long in coming and, in the early 80s, TECNOLOGIE FRB was recognized as a leading company in its sector.
