CELMI e INNO.TEC together to optimize the sorting cycle of used clothes

The CELMI srl team, leader in the design and production of industrial weighing systems for over 40 years, is proud to present the collaboration with Inno.Tec, an important company for years engaged in the design and production of industrial handling systems in the most various sectors. The Celmi technicians have made their know-how available in the weighing sector to define a precise, reliable used clothing management system capable ofguaranteeing maximum safety for the operators involved in handling the skip. 

The system includes the presence of a robust tipper, i.e. a heavy carpentry structure, where a cage is located to contain the container to be tipped. The movement of the system, in its rotation, is guaranteed by a hydraulic cylinder and controlled by a series of hooks that guarantee the maximum safety of the body during the tipping phase. Everything is managed by a PLC and a weighing system designed by CELMI srl to detect the weight of the container which is around 1000 kg. The system is made up of 4 2t TYPE 142 low profile load cells and our DATA digital transmitter equipped with output PROFINET. 

The cells, inserted in the context of the tipper, play an essential role: positioned at the base of the four support columns of the tipper, they are able to detect, with maximum precision, the weight of the boxes full of clothing, allowing the Inno.Tec PLC system to guarantee the safety and efficiency of the emptying process. 

The DATA transmitter also has an important function within the used clothing sorting system: with its LED display, the Inno.Tec PLC system provides a precise and immediate weight reading, essential for monitoring the container load.

Its versatility is further enhanced by the numerous integrated communication interfaces, making it compatible witha wide range of control systems. 

In the Inno.Tec process, while the body is being inserted, the DATA PROFINET, connected to the load cells, transfers the weight to the PLC. If the weight is compliant, the tipper begins its work of emptying the bin full of used clothes,ensuring efficient and safe management.

TYPE 142 LOAD CELL: can be used for low, medium and high capacity weighing systems.

DIGITAL DATA TRANSMITTER with PROFINET output: it is a weight transmitter to be combined with load cells to detect the weight in every situation. It is easy to install and can be mounted on a 35mm DIN rail.

The LED  display, with 7 red segments, 6 digits (h 8 mm), allows easy reading of the weight, configuration parameters and errors. The 3 keys positioned under the display and protected by the front door allow the operator to carry out both  theoretical and actual zero, programming and calibration functions.

Integrated communication interfaces: Rs232, Profinet fieldbus, Profibus, Ethernet IP, EtherCAT, Ethernet TCP, CanOpen, Modbus/TCP. The instrument can be ordered with both fieldbus and analogue output (both voltage and current), which are therefore not mutually exclusive.
