CARL ZEISS S.p.a.

It was born in Italy in 1948 as a branch of the ZEISS Group. The current corporate structure is that of a SpA with a single shareholder, with a nominal capital of 4 million euros.
The company purpose is the marketing throughout the national territory of optical, precision mechanics and electronics products, supported by a valid pre and post sales consultancy and assistance service.
Today the company is based in the ultra-modern “La Forgiatura” campus, located in Via Varesina 162 in Milan. It employs over 160 employees and generates an annual turnover of around 60 million euros. The company is divided into three strategic sectors:
- Biomedical Technologies, for surgical and diagnostic technologies in various medical disciplines
- Microscopy, for technologies supporting biomedical research and industrial quality control
- Industrial Metrology, for cutting-edge measurement and control technologies in the industrial chain.
