La COSAPPO Srl was born in 1983 as a small mechanical workshop to produce hydraulic cylinders to a single customer, manufacturer of (construction site dumpers and truck mixers)
Thanks to the professionalism and determination of the founder Luigi Ciani and the first two collaborators Rossi Dario and Suanno Nicola, and subsequently Brescia Gaetano, it has gradually expanded to establish itself in the Italian and foreign market with considerable production volumes.
Today it can count on three complete welding stations, two assembly stations, four cutting stations, six numerically controlled stations between lathes and machining centers, four parallel lathes and a quality control laboratory with a measurement room with various control instruments.
the production is supported by a vast and complete warehouse which allows, given the vastness of the materials available, to satisfy requests for cylinders of a certain urgency.
The business is spread over an area of ​​about 9000sqm of which 2300sqm of covered area, 400sqm of office, 6000sqm uncovered and the remaining green area.
La COSAPPO Srl, with many years of experience in every sector of its production and commercial activities, produces hydraulic plunging cylinders, single-acting pushing or pulling, double-acting single-stroke or telescopic, with adjustable braking, bilateral and in standard, special and stainless steel .
The experience acquired over the years, also strengthened by the close and continuous contact of its design office with that of various customers, has allowed it to dedicate itself, predominantly, to the production of special cylinders, of its own design, based on the customer’s sample or drawing .
He has therefore established working relationships with various special machine manufacturers from various countries such as Iceland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Uruguay and Norway, etc.
The size range of its cylinders starts from bore D 20 mm up to D 600 mm, useful stroke up to 7000 mm and operating pressure up to 700 bar.
La COSAPPO Srlit also designs and manufactures rotating distributors; custom rotary hydraulic couplings, for clamshell buckets, rail loaders, etc. with continuous rotation or with angles of 90 °, 180 °, 270 °. It also carries out precision mechanical machining for third parties.
