Geocart S.p.a. is an engineering company that, for over twenty years, has been offering technical services with a high degree of specialization in the fields of Energy and Engineering, Earth Observation, Environment and ICT.
Since 2001, Geocart has consolidated its know-how by working, for the main electricity distribution companies, in the inspection of MV / LV electricity networks by means of surveys with helicopters equipped with highly innovative equipment.
The ability to design, plan and implement aerial photography campaigns studied on the specific needs of the client, allows to cover a wide range of applications by installing versatile and cutting-edge measuring devices on airplanes and helicopters. In particular, Geocart S.p.a. provides both traditional and innovative services, with high levels of accuracy and reliability in the survey of infrastructures (power lines, railways, roads, gas pipelines), network diagnostics, environmental monitoring and territorial control, thanks to use of airborne platforms specially designed in the company, which integrate, according to different possible configurations, several high-tech sensors (laser scanners, digital cameras, thermal cameras, hyperspectral sensors).
