Renishaw is a worldwide company with core competencies in measurement, motion control, medical, spectroscopy and manufacturing. It provides products and services useful for a variety of applications: from jet engines, to wind turbines, to products for dentistry and neurosurgery. Our technological leadership also extends to rapidly evolving sectors such as additive manufacturing (also known as 3D printing for metals), where we design and manufacture industrial machinery capable of “printing” finished parts starting from metal powders.
The Renishaw group currently has more than 70 locations in 35 countries, with approximately 4.000 employees. Around 2.600 people work in the UK: in addition to manufacturing our systems, we carry out most of the research and development here.
