Founded in 1969, thanks to the know-how in high-quality mechanical production, Ancora, a leader in the design and production of complete lines for finishing the ceramic product, since 2015 has become part of SITI B&T Group.

In fact, within the most modern production plants, the weight of the finish – which means squaring and polishing ceramic surfaces, but also obtaining perfect sub-formats starting from large format slabs – has considerably improved compared to the past. For this reason, the daily challenge of Ancora must be constant innovation: “We will continue to introduce innovations and optimize the range of our products – says Franco Ponsone, Chief Executive Officer – who we want to propose in an increasingly incisive manner.”

Two other distinctive elements of Ancora’s DNA are customer service and internal production of strategic technological components, to better control and guarantee machine quality and delivery times.

Ancora technologies for polishing, lapping, cutting (including water jet cutting), grinding and protective treatments for ceramics – starting with large panels – are now in use in 40 countries worldwide, with a total of around 1,000 installed lines.
