Biella Shrunk Process was founded in 1961 following a daring challenge: to create a new wool finishing process capable of guaranteeing an unalterable and permanent result, this is how autoclave decatising was born, better known by the acronym KD (Kessel Decatur – registered trademark of Biella Shrunk Process) which has become famous all over the world.
