The “Metal Transformation Group”, which is part of The Heico Companies, operates three companies spread over six manufacturing sites in Quebec and Ontario and employs nearly 1,500 people. The organization operates a state-of-the-art electric arc furnace (EAF) steel mill and billet casting plant, a double strand bar rolling mill, a coil processing facility, two wire rolling mills, a bolt manufacturing facility, a nut manufacturing facility and a steel fastener coating facility. The steel produced by our Ontario steel mill, in addition to using scrap steel from multiple industries, is among the greenest in Canada and globally.
