FERRARI – Divisione della BCS S.p.a.
The events of the Ferrari mechanical workshops of Luzzara (Reggio Emilia) originate in the Italy of reconstruction and are intertwined with the development and mechanization of agriculture during the 1950s. After an initial initial phase dedicated to the construction of dies for the production of irrigation pipes, in 1957 FERRARI presented itself at the Verona Fair with its first agricultural machine: the MC 57 motor cultivator, which immediately met with great success. which, with various updates, will be built until 1965, the year in which the company launches its first articulated tractor, the MT 65. In the 1970s, FERRARI can already consider itself a company with a high technological content, and this brings it to enrich the range of products with the production of the first motor mowers, the first transporters and the first motoblocks for the transport of food on impervious terrain.
In 1988 it became part of the BCS Group, a large already established reality. Today the BCS Group is a leading multinational company in the mechanization sector: it designs and builds agricultural and green maintenance machines, machines for the production of autonomous electricity and for mobile welding. The BCS Group can count on three production plants in Italy (Abbiategrasso, Luzzara and Cusago) certified ISO 9001, and is present in all continents with distributors and commercial branches.
