Raffaello Venturini, nicknamed Fellone, historical figure of a Borgo San Lorenzo that no longer exists, maternal grandfather of Gherardo Gherardi founder of GG Macchine.
Raffaello started working at a very young age, as was normal in the early 900s, instead of going to be a sharecropper like many of his peers, he decides to go and learn the trade of blacksmith.
After a few years he opens his own shop and serves the farms in the area.
In the 30s he was the only blacksmith in Mugello to own one electrode welding machine.
This welding machine in the period of the Second World War during the occupation, was buried by Raphael to hide it and prevent it from being confiscated.
The welding machine is still present in the family business.
