GL 1 is a company that conceptualises, designs, manufactures and markets machines for the maintenance of green roads, agriculture and professional gardening. For precision, we manufacture hydraulic brushcutters and multi-purpose shredders.
We were born in the early 80s and our products were built in a small workshop in Cento (FE).
At the beginning of the 90s, we decided to give a new name to our company and the GL 100 brand was born at first (acronym of the surname of the two founding members and the location where the company was born) and then later changed to GL 1. Along with the creation of the new brand, we expanded into the current headquarters in Bevilacqua (BO).
After making ourselves known in Italy, we crossed national borders, entered various European Union and Far East markets and forged industrial collaborations with leading national companies. Today, like yesterday, what sets us apart is the continuous search for reliability that we demand in our machines, a goal and a duty to the customers who have chosen to place their trust in our products.
This statement, made by one of our founding members, inspired us to develop a series of machines to help operators involved in the maintenance of green roads, farmers and gardening professionals. The whole GL1 working group, from the production department to the commercial department and technical area, acts according to this objective. From this principle, ideas are born and it then inspires the choices that are found in our machines. Only when we obtain positive feedback from users who appreciate our product do we know that we have achieved our goal. We desire to be specialists, not just generalists, and to make true quality products – a word that is often used but rarely achieved.
