MTV has 60 years of experience in the design and construction of machinery for the textile industry

The Company was founded in 1959 in Cittadella with the name of its founder, Francesco Battistella who, after maturing considerable experience “in the field”, decided to set up his activity combining the knowledge accumulated over the years with his ingeniousness and passion for mechanics.

Approximately twenty years went by during which time Francesco worked and consolidated his activities, while his name became very well known among the textile industries in the North-East. Near the end of the 70s his children joined him in the business

In ’79 Ernesto, who shared his father Francesco’s passion for mechanics, and soon became a key figure between the Company and Clients especially with plant assistance. In ’85 Mirco joined them and, to their existing ingeniousness, added the technique needed to manage new development and design tools.

Together they gave greater impulse to the family activity, which in the same year converted to MTV (Meccanica Tessile Veneta – Veneta Textile Mechanics) developing new designs dedicated to mixing and opening textile fibres. The last one to join the staff was Arianna, Francesco’s daughter and third child, in the role of commercial and administrative coordinator.

This family synergy, combined with a considerable passion for their work lead MTV to grow continuously over time to become one of the most qualified companies in the sector today.
