Meccanica Nova is a historic company that has been designing and manufacturing internal, external and special grinding systems for over 80 years.
The company occupies a factory on the outskirts of Bologna consisting of a production plant of 10.000 square meters equipped with the most modern equipment, and a building of 3.000 square meters developed on 3 levels, used as offices.
The workers employed are about 150, most highly specialized technicians and with long experience of working in the field of grinders.
To deal with the frequent changes that characterize today’s market and the growing competitiveness at a global level, NOVA employs 20% of its employees between “R&D” and “Marketing & Communication” activities, to study and propose innovative grinding solutions for emerging sectors, which require increasingly advanced products, such as the energy sector or components for the latest generation of hybrid engines.
