OBEM SpA was founded in 1946 in Biella, a textile district of Northern Italy known throughout the world for the high concentration of producers of yarns, fabrics and garments of the highest quality. Here OBEM has grown producing textile machinery mainly for fiber and yarn dyeing treatments or for vaporization treatments. The achievement of high quality results with our. machines has always been the main objective of our. projects. Furthermore, in the last 30 years we have concentrated our. efforts to equip our machines with a high degree of reliability, automation and in many cases also complete robotization.
In 1986 we installed our. first robotic system for package dyeing and since then we have developed robotization for all types of machinery of our. production. After more than 30 years of experience in this field, OBEM has 60 robotic systems in operation in every important textile area in the world. These plants can work with a small number of operators, eg. 1 or 2 per shift, and have been developed for Wool, Cotton, Acrylic, Polyester, Viscose and blends. I ns. devices, related robotic equipment and software are produced in our. Biella plant, and our customers can be followed from here directly in remote assistance for any need concerning dyeing machines or robots.
