Since 1953, when its founder Olmes Ognibene built his first “workshop” for the assembly of tractors and agricultural machinery in Correggio (Reggio Emilia), Ognibene Power has come really a long way, becoming a globally recognized leader in the design, development and manufacturing of hydraulic steering system components (actuators and steering units), expanding and consolidating its market presence in several Countries.
Today the Company is still family-owned but has become a multinational Corporation under the management of Claudio Ognibene. In 2003 Ognibene Power reached the highest worldwide market share in off-highway power steering actuators.

Proud of this milestone in its history, at the beginning of the new millennium the Company has started undergoing a further major expansion, opening new manufacturing branches in Brazil, India, China and North Carolina (USA) and sales offices in Japan and Germany, adding members to its already big family that today can count on 1.200 employees.
