OSRAM is one of the world’s two largest lighting manufacturers. Its offer covers the entire value chain: lamps, electronic ballasts, optical semiconductors such as light emitting diodes (LEDs), luminaires, lighting management systems and solutions. The company, with an international vocation, has over 35,000 employees worldwide. The company’s activities have been focused on light, and therefore on quality of life, for more than 100 years. With LED products representing 29% of total turnover, the company plays a significant role in the technological changes of the lighting market. Over 60% of R&D investments are in the SSL (solid state lighting) sector.
