Founded in Bergamo in 1927, SIAD is an international Group producing and marketing the entire range of industrial, special and medical gases and associated services.
SIAD has a presence throughout Italy via a strategically located production, distribution and sales network, and operates in Europe with companies in thirteen different countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine and Russia, each operating with its own locally based production and commercial facilities.
SIAD group activities are also notably varied, extending into sectors which have synergy with gases: healthcare (home and hospital based care), welding and industrial estates, gas production plants, compressors and automatism, exploitation of the residues from industrial processes and environmental management.
Among the industries catered for, SIAD operates within the mining sector, environmental reclamation, is involved in optimising oil well production, in the specific technologies for well water regeneration, in capturing carbon dioxide from industrial plants and in combustion.
