LR5-LAN series
The LR5-LAN series is designed for smart factories and Industrial IoT applications. Thanks to direct LAN control via HTTP(S), Modbus/TCP, Socket, and EtherNet/IP, it enables simple and efficient centralized control of visual and audible signaling on production lines.
The built-in web server and IP65 protection rating help reduce design complexity and maintenance workload in industrial facilities.
The device can be controlled directly over the network from industrial PCs and PLCs, eliminating the need for interface boards with digital outputs. Configuration via a web browser further simplifies integration into existing systems.
Before
Industrial PC-based systems required interface boards with digital outputs, increasing the number of components and complicating inventory management and delivery logistics.
Now with LR5-LAN
Control via HTTP(S), Modbus/TCP, Socket, and EtherNet/IP allows the signal tower and buzzer to be managed directly over the network. This eliminates the need for dedicated output boards and simplifies the system architecture.
Configuration through a web browser also reduces engineering time and maintenance activities.

Integration with supervisory systems
Notifications and status signals from SCADA or production management systems can be displayed using standard protocols. In addition to monitors, signals are also reproduced on signal towers, allowing operators on the shop floor to immediately recognize anomalies and improve operational responsiveness.

Host device connection monitoring
Connectivity with the host device can be monitored. If communication with the host is lost, the LED module provides an alert, enabling network heartbeat monitoring.
Reduced wiring effort
1. Reduced installation time
Power is supplied with 24 V DC, and the unit is controlled through an RJ-45 connector with a LAN cable. This significantly reduces wiring work compared to traditional cabling.
2. Easy power supply configuration
With the optional ADP-001C adapter, the device can be powered directly from an AC outlet. No 24 V DC power supply or additional installation is required.
3. Stackable design
It shares the same stackable structure as other signal towers in the LR series. The color order and number of tiers can be easily changed without tools.
