SAIE, The Construction Exhibition, returns to Bari on October 19th-21st after the excellent results of the Bologna edition in 2022. A not-to-be-missed appointment for the entire construction supply chain, where the innovative applications of aluminium will take centre stage.
Light metal in construction is once again the leading player in Bari with SAIE 2023, at the Nuova Fiera del Levante trade show grounds, on October 19th-21st. This is an important opportunity to meet and exchange views for the wide range of operators in this industry.
The impulse given by the National Resilience and Recovery Plan and the various Building Bonuses shows how each sector today cannot stand alone and qualify its market without connecting with the entire construction world. For this reason and in order to be always close to the entire national territory, the exhibition returns to Bari after the Bologna edition in 2022, continuing the alternation which has made it the main event dedicated to the construction world in Italy. Besides, the alternation after SAIE 2022 in Bologna allows the event a complete coverage of the territory.
SAIE Bari 2023 will be characterised by a renewed exhibition format designed to encourage all-round encounters between the leading players in the construction system and to highlight excellent products and solutions from the entire supply chain with itineraries dedicated to the key themes of building and plant engineering.
Construction and energy transition
Today, more than ever, SAIE 2023 in Bari becomes an essential meeting in consideration of the new proposed EU directive on ‘green houses’ aiming to make the European building stock totally zero-emission by 2050. It is expected to have a considerable impact on the construction sector from this year to 2033, according to Ance it would mean intervening on 1.8 million buildings which in 10 years will have to improve their energy performance for a total of 180,000 interventions per year, with an investment of about 59 billion euros between the redevelopment of residential and instrumental buildings.
The data published by ENEA show that our real estate heritage is particularly energy-intensive: the analysis reveals that 60% of Italian buildings are in the two worst energy classes (F and G); even taking into account the differences between the classification criteria, we are talking about a much higher figure than France (17%) and Germany (6%).
As emerged during the press conference presenting SAIE 2023, we therefore need an action plan consisting of public investment and funding accessible to families, to be implemented as soon as possible to enable the construction industry to gradually make the entire building stock, responsible for 40% of CO2 emissions, more efficient. Besides this, the innovative drive of the construction sector, which has already shown great capabilities but which must also be promoted through an event such as SAIE, where professionals and companies can enrich their skills and confront themselves with the latest market innovations, must be supported.
Participating in the exhibition as an exhibitor will therefore be a fundamental occasion to create new business opportunities, deepen the knowledge of the most up-to-date technical aspects, provide visibility to the company and take advantage of unique opportunities for exchanging ideas. SAIE Bari 2023, thanks to its recognition as an International Fair, will also encourage direct interaction with the nearby Mediterranean area and its markets. So all that remains is to save the date and meet again at SAIE Bari 2023 in Bari on October 19th-21st at the Nuova Fiera del Levante trade show grounds.
