VITRUM, the International Trade Show Specialized in machinery, equipment and systems for flat and hollow glass and glass and processed products for industry, returns to Milan today, September 5, to showcase and celebrate the best glass technologies.
From September 5th to 8th, VITRUM will be inspired by meetings, presentations, testimonials and informational-educational seminars.
The fair organizers reconfirm the double theme-based routes that accompanied visitors in the previous editions.
On one hand the VITRUM Specialized: 12 families that identify the main end markets the offer of VITRUM exhibitors is oriented to.
On the other hand, GLASS IS… The Qualities of Glass is a key to understanding the many benefits guaranteed by this timeless material.
In addition, this edition will feature a series of collateral events dedicated to glass and sustainability, taking place in the most characteristic and modern venues of Milan. These events are part of the Milan Glass Week (4-10 September), the “off-show” of the exhibition that shines a spotlight on “glass” beyond the fair itself.
VITRUM 2023 is enriched with a new space linking the two events: the VITRUM Arena, a multifunctional space where master glassmakers, artists, architects, and designers bring their personal interpretation of glass to the stage, creating a captivating and unprecedented journey. The visitor is led on a voyage through the beauty and aesthetics of glass, which sometimes stem from artistic talent and creative genius, and at other times from meticulousness and technological expertise.
An additional novelty is the VITRUM Boulevard, spanning the entire exhibition area. The Boulevard hosts the international glass community and is intended as a tribute to the organizations that make VITRUM their home, fueling the engine of international glass industry growth through continuous discussions, debates, and the sharing of ideas and experiences.
With the undertaken path of expanding the exhibition base and engaging the general audience through Glass Week, VITRUM continues its intention to establish itself as the International Exhibition of the entire Glass Industry.
