DAL DEGAN S.r.l.
Dal Degan is an historic family business located in Veneto, in North-East Italy, which began production in 1870.
The company is specialised in manufacturing machinery for plant protection.
The company founder, Antonio Dal Degan, began to work as a craftsman in his workshop where he built a special sulphorator and a backpack pump. His grandson, Antonio, a few decades later, took over the business and expanded the market all over northern Italy. The biggest change during this period occurred in the mid 1950s when the first motorized pumps were built.
This development in Agricultural mechanisation allowed Dal Degan to become one of the major manufacturers in the sector, also exporting its products to foreign markets. In the 1970s Nicolò and Giulio succeeded their father Antonio and then in the 1990s management was enriched by their children.
Thanks to the shrewd business relationships with their importers and resellers, sales in Europe, the Middle East, South America, the USA and Russia have increased significantly in recent years.
The production site now boasts 10,000 m3 of floorspace in Mason Vicentino and from about 2005 a new production unit for large agricultural machines was opened in Serbia near Belgrade in order to fully meet the needs of the important Eastern European agricultural market.
In order to maintain the leading role in gardening and agriculture, Dal Degan has recently added robotics and automatic assembly machines to its manufacturing machinery for pressure and backpack pumps for better and faster production.
Production ranges from 1 – 2 litre hand sprayers, to 6 – 8 litre pressure sprayers, 12, 16 and 20 litre backpack pumps in plastic, copper and stainless steel to 65, 70 and 150 litre motor pumps and trolleys.
We also manufacture 20 – 60 bar membrane pumps. There is a complete range with large machines for agriculture such as 300, 400 and 600 litre atomizers, 800, 1000 and 1500 litre towed atomizers and 300, 400, 600 and 800 litre weed killing units with 8, 10 and 12 metre bars. We also manufacture 2000 and 3000 litre large towed units with 24 and 36 m. hydraulic bar.
